| Summary, etc. | RQUIDEAS NEGRAS: En un caso, las orquídeas negras son el incentivo que impulsa a Wolfe a desenmascarar al asesino. Así las consigue. En otro caso, esas orquídeas negras (nexo de unión entre ambos casos) tienen la culpa de que, al final de una endemoniada historia de anónimos, venganza y muerte, Archie se quede abrumado por un misterio que le ronda el cerebro y entenebrece su natural y alegre sentido del humor.<br/>LA DAMA DEL VELO: La dama del velo y sus tres hermanas políticas, herederas naturales del difunto, se sienten estafadas. Van a quedarse siete millones de dólares, libres de impuestos, que, si Wolfe no lo remedia, irán a caer en manos de un intrusa. El detective tiene que convencer a ésta de que le conviene renunciar a aquella fortuna. Si no, habrá impugnación del testamento, escándalo, etc. De pronto, el asunto adquiere una nueva dimensión: se descubre que el difunto murió asesinado. Y el contencioso se torna complejo, ominoso, siniestro. |
